"..it takes a great deal to stand up to your enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends..."
And just like that the book became a legend.
Dear Readers,
This is Arunima and I am here with my very first book review. This is something that I have been planning for a long time and finally got the push to start it.
This book nudged me to explore more about the exciting and adventurous world of books. I got my first harry potter book when I was 12 years old and since then I have re-read this numerous times. But enough about me and without further ado let's dive in.
For all those who don’t know yet (probably very few), this book is about a 10 years old boy Harry, who is living a miserable life. His parents are dead and he lives with his aunt, uncle, and a cousin who mistreat him every other second.
But a few days before his 11th birthday he receives a mysterious letter of acceptance by Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (the first exciting thing in his life EVER).
Harry is about to embark on a mysterious and magical journey. He goes to school and eventually learns a lot more than he expected.
After so many years of bottling up his emotions, he feels like a normal kid in this new magical world.
He becomes friends with Ronald Weasley and muggle-born Hermione Granger. He comes to know he is the ‘boy who lived as well as his connection with “you-know-who” (we do not speak of his name).
This story is a whirlwind of mysteries, magic, and more.
Lastly, I highly recommend this book to those who are in search of some magic, mystery, and musings.
Give your mind and imaginations some treat!
Lots of love,
Arunima x
